BELOIT — Monday was the first day for new Beloit City Manager Daniel Ortiz Hernandez, but there was little fanfare.
“My Day 1 agenda was mostly orientation, meeting with the employees and getting caught up with (city attorney Elizabeth Krueger, who served as interim city manager),” Ortiz Hernandez said.
Ortiz Hernandez said he’s ready to dive in after spending the past 10 days getting acclimated. He said his family was able to find a home on the city’s East Side and they moved in a week ago.
