BELOIT — In an unsurprising decision, the Lincoln Academy board of directors on Feb. 4 approved expansion plans that will double the size of the public charter school and possibly double the enrollment as well.
The Lincoln Academy posted a news release last week announcing that the board gave the formal OK. The board includes, among others, ABC Supply Co-Founder Diane Hendricks, Beloit Health System Senior Executive Vice President Dr. Roger Kapoor, and former School District of Beloit teacher and administrator Barbara Hickman.
“This milestone marks a significant step forward in TLA’s vision to expand access to high-quality, college- and career-focused education for families across the region,” the news release stated. “The expansion will enable TLA to increase capacity, enhance extracurricular and athletic opportunities, and create new spaces aligned with its strategic vision.”
