CLINTON — Scot Forge, the employee-owned, Clinton-based manufacturer of custom open-die and seamless rolled ring metal forging, is donating $100,000 to Blackhawk Technical College to support the school’s Fund for the Future of Manufacturing.

In return, Scot Forge received the naming rights to an area in the college’s 52,000-square-foot Innovative Manufacturing Education Center, which was opened in 2024.

“Scot Forge is proud to partner with Blackhawk Technical College because of the meaningful impact they make in developing a skilled workforce and strengthening our community,” Kelly Crosby, human resource business partner at Scot Forge, said in a news release. “(The company’s) focus on hands-on education and workforce development has made them a strong partner, and we’ve had a great experience working together to support the next generation of skilled workers.”

Scot Forge will donate the money over the next five years to the fund managed by the Blackhawk Technical College Foundation.
